Woohoo! Floors! Okay so today they installed the flooring in both bathrooms and in the laundry room. It looks great :) but was hard to photograph because there really is very little light in those rooms right now.

In other news, Carol from Rich's Flooring called today and asked me a question about the kitchen floors, which are going in next. The division between the living room and the kitchen area shares a seam between the wood floors of the kitchen and the carpet of the living room. She just wanted to know if we wanted a straight line, or if we wanted a jog in the line. I had seen the "jog" in the model home and it's a neat detail. Basically the floor goes 3/4 of the way across the opening, takes a 45 degree turn and then goes to the wall.

Outside 

So much of the outside is still not finished, which is disappointing. The siding seemed to get stalled out a bit recently. Seriously, why haven't they finished the trim in those few places?

But, LOTS of progress is being made on the driveway and sidewalk (which has been non-existant until today.) I saw the crew putting in a driveway just a few houses down the street, so I bet we're next! Check out the small mountain in our front yard haha.
