So today I got a call from our builder's real estate agent saying we have to place our order for the kitchen cabinets ASAP. I didn't even realize our cabinets weren't ordered yet. Apparently the cabinet makers have a distribution warehouse out of Texas that they are closing down, and as a result, they are increasing the cost of cabinets by 25% to discourage out of state orders. Luckily we already picked out what we want, and we'll have our order in tomorrow - which means we won't have the additional 25% price tag. But how's that for scary?
Brad and I (he doesn't know this yet) are going to sit down tonight and finalize our selections so that we can put in all of our orders. I am not messing around with this!
