Sorry for the delay in this post, but Brad and I have been in Glacier National Park since Friday! We had a wonderful trip and thoroughly enjoyed the amazing scenery.
We saw four bears, two moose and a nifty otter!

The fence dilemma has been resolved, and placed in the appropriate location. Bob was wonderful and moved the fence without question, and without issuing us a change-order. The company was coming back the next day to make more progress on the fence, and nothing had been permanently installed. Here's a photo of it going up initially. They had just gone around the property and dug the holes. They were supposed to then come back the next day and fill them in, and add the rest of the fencing. Goodbye to some of my view, but hello private, amazing, wonderful backyard.
Here are a few photos of the cabinets. Nothing was really installed yet, just set into place.
And a close-up of the GORGEOUS island...
While we were away in Glacier, the Billings area got hit with a "macro-storm" that produced 1.5 inch hail, nearly 2 inches of rain, rockslides and 75 mph winds. We were away, sleeping in the woods and completely oblivious to what was going on at home. I feel like someone was looking out for us, because our new house came away unscathed. Our neighbor across the street wasn't so lucky, his house has a full basement that was still mid-construction, and now has 5 feet of standing water. Brad went by the house today and everything is fine for us, and the builder went into the crawl space and said everything is nice and dry. I'm counting my blessings today. Two weeks until closing!
