Fabulous carpet!

Ta-da! The house got it's carpet today and it looks faaaabulous. This photo is very dark, it's really not THAT dark looking in person, but it's pretty and shouldn't show too much wear very quickly.

It's impressive how much these guys can get done in a day. All the carpet is now complete :)

The kitchen is still a work in progress, but they did install the dining room light, and all of the cabinets are up. We are still waiting on counter-tops and pendant lights above the island. Oh, and the sink (which is currently sitting in the garage.)

All of the light switch plates, tv cable boxes etc. are all in and finished. Also, we got this nifty ceiling installed in the front entry. Check out the recessed lighting (but forgive the temporary door that is SO very ugly) :)

The outside of the house is nearly complete too. The massive pile of dirt that's been in the front yard has been taken away, and they poured our walkway. They also installed the lights on the garage.

And we got our garage door motor installed too!
